A friend of mine has invited Spokane Rocket Velo to join them in their ride this weekend. I know this is last minute, but if you're interested, please call Callie at 425.968.0545 or email her at
cchestnut@aaoamerica.org and mention that you got the invite from me.
Ride with Elite Members of the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team!
AAOA invites you along for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride with two of the world's top professional athletes! Cyclists will have the opportunity to personally meet and talk with Jake and Adrian before and after the ride at receptions open only to the riders.
On Saturday, March 10th UnitedHealthcare Pro-Cycling Team members Adrian Hegyvary and Jake Keough will be leading a 30 mile charity ride starting from Gregg’s Cycles in Greenlake. This is an invitation only event for 75 experienced cyclists.
Spokane Rocket Velo members have been invited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and experience to ride with the pros! Riders are asked to donate $150 to benefit the
UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation. All participants will receive an official UHC Pro Cycling jersey as a part of their donation and participation in the ride.
Adrian Hegyvary
Adrian competes around the world but calls Seattle home. He's a 2005 graduate of the University of Washington and just received his JD from the University of Washington Law School. Adrian has been racing for nine years and is expected to be an integral part of the UHC Pro Cycling team in 2012.
Jake Keough
Jake is the sport of cycling’s 2011 breakout star and has rocketed through the ranks to become one of the top sprinters in the United States and is on course to be one of the best in the world! Originally from Massachusetts, he is in his fifth year of pro racing. Just this past week Jake has taken 2nd place in both Stage 2 and Stage 4 of the 2012 Le Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia.
