|Liberty Road Races|
Saturdays, May 11 & July 27, 2013
Results up to and including the Liberty Road Race #1 are now posted here. Please review the results before the next race.
Description: This is a fast course on a 29-mile loop in the rolling farm country of the Palouse. There are a few large rollers with grades of 4-6 percent. There are no steep climbs. Team tactics and the wind often decide the result of this race. The finish line is on top of a gentle climb just west of the start location. Registration and staging is at Liberty High School, near Spangle, Wash.
*Category scored separately but racing in combined field. Masters 40+ and 50+ fields are open only to USA Cycling Category 1-4 racers. Category 5 racers (new racers) must race in the Cat 4/5 field with the exception of riders age 60 or above; they are welcome to race in the Masters 60+ field. Read more about this change here! For more information about categories, classes, and upgrades, please consult the USA Cycling Rule Book.
Five riders make a field! Fields with less than five riders may be cancelled or combined with another field. Prizes and money for fields with less than five riders will not be awarded. Fields that race together will still be scored separately.
