Here are maps of our favorite rides in the Spokane area. They are grouped according to ride distance. To check out the club's latest ride plans, visit the club ride forum.

Short Rides (less than 20 miles): 

The River Loop from the Downriver area of NW Spokane: Our weekly Monday night loop, starting from "F-n-Glass" at 6 p.m. 16 miles.

Chase the Sun from North Division Bicycle Shop (NDBS): Our weekly Thursday night loop starting from North Division Bicycle Shop at 7 p.m. 20 miles.

Medium Rides (20-50 miles):

Chase the Sun (Extended Loop) from NDBS: Another good ride from North Division Bicycle Shop. 25 miles.

Rambo Road - After-Work Loop from the Downriver area: A great after-work ride with a surprising amount of climbing for being so close to town. 28 miles.

The Traditional Wednesday Night "Elk Ride" from Browne's Addition: A spirited out-and-back from downtown Spokane to Nine Mile Dam. The Wednesday ride starts at 5:30 p.m. Can you hang? 27 miles.

The Elk Ride to Hangman Loop takes riders up the South Hill and then lowers them into the Hangman Valley and parallels some great countyside and creek before climbing up Hatch Road. Can be done in either direction for variation. 24 miles.

The Elk Ride to Cheney/Best of the Bunch Course starts out with seven glorious miles along the new Fish Lake Trail but then takes a twist and starts almost one complete lap of the Best of the Bunch race course before winding back into town. While the ending has a lot of twists and turns, don't worry: just keep pointing your bike towards Spokane and you'll eventually get back to town. 27 miles.

NDBS-Greenbluff Loop: A popular club Saturday loop, starting from North Division Bicycle Shop, which can be easily lengthened to suite your tastes. 35 miles.

NDBS to Elk to Deer Park Loop: This loop, and variations there-of, are common SRV Saturday ride routes. 79 miles.

Springdale-Hunters-Chewelah Loop: An SRV classic, starting in Springdale WA. Epic! 82 miles.

Thomson and Dobson Pass Ride: Cool ride in Northern Idaho. 89 miles.

Cheney-Rock Lake Loop: A great loop out of Cheney, featuring a little bit of everything. Also, our road race of the same name. 72 miles.

Mount Spokane Out-and-Back from town: So you like climbing? 56 miles.

Rosalia-Rock Lake Classic: Scenic loop through the Palouse and an old SRV race course. 65 miles.

Colville-Northport-Boundary Loop: Loop in far northeastern Washington. Very quiet and scenic. 86 miles.

The Saltese Flats: Rivers, mountains, fields of flowers and even buffalo!  Low traffic and gorgeous scenary. 52 miles.

Spokane, Liberty Lake, Hauser Lake, Newman Lake, and Back: Starting off with The Saltese Flats ride and adding an additional 30 miles by riding around both Hauser Lake and Newman Lake.  If you want terrific, beautiful scenery and a convenenience store that gladly serves cyclists in spandex, this is your ride. 89 miles.

Extra Long Rides (100+ Miles):

Spokane-Springdale-Hunters-Chewelah Loop: You are quite insane. The last time a group attempted this loop, SAG wagons were called in for all but two riders. 173 miles.

Spokane-Plummer-Harrison-Couer d'Alene Loop: Up down up down up down up down up down up down with some beautiful scenery all the way. Simply amazing. 152 miles.

Deer Park-Springdale-Cheweleh-Usk: It's all downhill from 49 Degrees North! Sort of. 128 miles.
